I really like this quote from Samuel Johnson.. I think eating something special with friends could be relaxing.... it gives the moment to unwind and to share each other's experiences..
Last Saturday My friends and I decided to meet at Cafe Juanita. Actually at first i was bewildered with my thoughts about the place. I haven't been there and i wonder why my friends really want to eat in there despite that it is quite far from us... Anyway.... I was excited to see what's in there...
As soon as we arrived there we ordered right off the bat. I was really amazed because of a classic style of the surroundings. it was really quite and peaceful.. And take not the price wasn't cost and arm and a leg. It was really reasonable.. My sister and I ordered caldereta and dinuguan.
We already got our orders and really to eat. The smell of caldereta was so tempting. I couldn't help myself but to eat a lot... before eating was took some pictures.
I think dinuguan also was really yummy. I was really hungry at that time to i ate too much rice... I was able to forget that i'm on the diet.. that's okay i can do it next time. hahahahaha^_^
at the roof.... they decorated with different some vintage things in there. it makes the place so pinoy... I wonder how they collect all the stuffs in there.
This place looks like an old house. There are many decorations of different classics stuffs. At the wall there are old paintings and old lamp shade..i wish i could have a chance to collect the same stuffs like these things.. maybe somebody.. break a leg rose.. i know i make it... hahahahaha..:)
After having dinner with friends. We ordered halo halo though it took time for us to get the order. Maybe they had a hard time to prepare since we ordered 8 glasses ... So while waiting our order we talked about life. So this is what i really like most.. I learned a lot of things from my friends during our simple conversations.
Behind me are some of old paintings. Actually my friend who usually eat there told me that they've been eating in this restaurant for such a long time. And when they first visited there there was tag price of those paintings. I think long time ago painters tried to display their works in there...I hope to visit there once again. I had a great time with my friends and ofcourse the foods. I won't forget that place..
